What are ADEA Micro-credentials?

The ADEA Micro-credentialing Program is portfolio-based assessment to verify that individual professional development has been put into practice. Upon earning a micro-credential, individuals are awarded a secure digital badge that can be displayed on their CVs or social media pages to clearly communicate these achievements to employers and peers.

Why am I seeing badges next to Educational Sessions?

Badges appear next to educational sessions that are relevant to the topic of an available ADEA Micro-credential. The information gained by attending the session may help attendees to develop a micro-credential submission.

Do I earn a micro-credential by attending a session?

Session attendance does not automatically confer an ADEA Micro-credential. ADEA Micro-credentials are earned after a portfolio-based assessment is submitted to ADEA eLearn and peer-reviewed to ensure it meets the micro-credential criteria. Individual session content may help attendees develop or refine a micro-credential submission.
