Recent federal legislation is changing the student loan landscape for health professions students, and understanding these changes is essential for future dental professionals. This timely and informative session will feature leading student loan debt management expert Paul Garrard, who will break down the latest updates and how they are likely to impact current dental students and recent graduates.

With more than 40 years of experience in higher education and student financial aid, Paul Garrard is one of the most well-known and in-demand educational debt management experts in the nation, especially in the health professions communities. He has extensive experience in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors of higher education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Samford University and an M.B.A. from the University of Georgia. Mr. Garrard works out of his home in Shepherdstown, WV.
He has worked as a consultant with ADEA for more than 10 years, providing updates on borrowing and repayment.
