There are some business aspects of dentistry that are challenging to learn in a classroom or clinical setting. Some elements needed for a successful career require additional skillsets that many recent graduates find they are underprepared for when seeking their first professional role. During this webinar three ADEA corporate members will share helpful guidance for those coming out of dental schools and allied programs.
Note: This event does not offer continuing education (CE) credit.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify what’s included in an employment contract and how to negotiate terms that fit your needs.
- Write questions to ask your prospective employer to facilitate success and gather insight into the practice’s operations.
- Explain the common problems that practices experience with inventory control, ordering and implementing new ordering systems.
- Describe the tag system and the technologies and techniques related to it that can increase a practice’s efficiency.
