The future of dental education includes students, residents and fellows. Therefore, engagement and feedback from this group are critical. ADEA initiatives that target students, residents and fellows are a key component of its commitment to being The Voice of Dental Education. To that end, ADEA Chapters were created for students, residents and fellows and aim to promote students’ interest in academic careers. In an effort to foster the growth and development of ADEA Chapters, ADEA surveys each chapter bi-annually to gain insight into the chapters, their level of engagement and reasons and detractors for students’ interest.
During this webinar, speakers will share key results from the 2022-2023 ADEA Chapter Survey that can help to shape future ADEA Chapter engagement and initiatives. ADEA Chapter leadership will be encouraged to build and maintain connections across chapters to leverage a shared and powerful network. Additionally, webinar speakers will share their vision for how current and future ADEA initiatives aim to improve dental education broadly, and students’ experiences with and beyond ADEA, more specifically. There will be a Q&A session at the end of the webinar to help support chapter leaders with their chapter programming.
Note: This webinar does not offer Continuing Education (CE) credit.
